Sin Barreras Fundraiser
Donation protected
The COVID-19 Student Service Corps (CSSC) has been started at the University of Virginia to help address the needs of the Charlottesville community to attempt to alleviate financial and resource restraints that people are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money to distribute to families within the Latinx community of Charlottesville who are struggling to pay rent or have other financial constraints through partnering with Sin Barreras, an organization that helps Spanish speakers and immigrants within our community. It is also to continue working with Sin Barreras as the needs of the Latinx community change throughout the course of this pandemic.
The need for donations is urgent. Our goal is to raise $5000 and 100% of the profits will be used for the purchasing of goods that families need or be given directly to these families to help support them during this troublesome time. We are grateful for any and all donations.
