Most of us have been to the Village Club of Western Springs for a special occasion, whether it was for a birthday, bowling, graduation, neighborhood event or just a small get together with friends and neighbors. Whatever the occasion, the Village Club has always been about bringing people together to celebrate, make memories, and create lasting friendships!
The English Tudor building located at the corner of Lawn and Chestnut has been a cornerstone and friends to the Western Springs community for 110 years. The overwhelming stress that COVID-19 has put on many businesses and families has also put an enormous strain on our organization.
ONE GOAL: KEEP THE CLUB! The annual operating budget is over $55,000 which basically covers property taxes, heat, electric, cleaning, etc. As members of the club and this community…So, the club members believe it is time to raise funds and we’re looking to the Western Springs community for support first.
Our modest fundraising goal is to raise $100,000 by 12/31/2020. The money will be used to enhance the physical structure of the building so that those who visit and join the club will enjoy it AND be proud of it!
THE ASK: Consider participating in our fundraising efforts. Whether you give time, talent or treasure, no donation is too small!
Let’s stay strong together, Western Springs!
Thank you so very much for your consideration of supporting The Club in this time of need! We look forward to seeing you soon!
