Save The Stanley

The Stanley Arms is run by Martin & Denise and they have run this pub for the past twenty three years. It is the heart of the wesham community, obviously with Covid-19 we are all on hard times. In short the brewery have asked them from May to start paying FULL rent which to be honest is not feasibly possible with no income coming in currently. Along with staff being on furlough, other pub costs and their own living costs it’s a strain and worrying time for them as well as all. 

If we stand any hope of our local being able to reopen we need as a community to pull together and help fight to keep The Stanley open. Over the years Martin & Denise have fought hard to keep this the thriving business we know and love. With an offer of superb quality real ales, food, pizza nights, curry nights and belly busting breakfasts to name but a few, not to mention the charity work by them and as a whole for the community. I know as a staff member myself i am not only keen to get back to work but want to ensure  i have The Stanley to return back to. Please help us to keep the doors open and be able to welcome back you guys. We miss you just as much as you miss us!!
