save School of Visual & Performing Arts

Hello! My name is Brandon Hanks, and I am proud to be the new Executive Director of the School of Visual and Performing Arts in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (SVPA).  SVPA is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides educational programs to the community through classes, outreach programs and performances.  The mission of SVPA is to create, produce, and provide accessible educational and performance opportunities in the visual and performing arts that educate, illuminate, and celebrate diversity in our local community.  Our organization has served Monroe County for over 21 years at its current location on Main Street; however, the building was sold six months ago and the new owner is not renewing our lease which expires May 31, 2022. 


We are excited to share that SVPA has been offered warehouse space at Castle Inn located in the Delaware Water Gap. The new location will require a variety of renovations including, but not limited to, upgrading the electrical system, installing air conditioning, constructing a wall and installing a floor for the dance studio.  It is our intention to continue providing Monroe County with a space for children, adults and artists to develop their performing arts skills but we need your support.  Please help SVPA by making a tax-deductible donation of any size.  Your generosity will allow us to continue providing educational programs and affordable performance space to our local community.
