Save the Royal Hotel Grong Grong

Jay Keyzer Amanda Simon and Children decided to make the change to a country lifestyle from Sydneys outskirts and bought the Royal Hotel
in Grong Grong  22kms east of Narrandera in the beautiful Riverina
District of New South Wales as their means to an income and room for the family of 8 in late 2019.

Being a new business they made all the necessary improvements to
enhance the investment they had made.
Doing so expended a large amount of financial resources.

Fast forward 3 months to February 2020 and the outbreak of the Covid 19 virus crisis.
Its created problems for everyone and Jay Amanda and Family have it
pretty tough right now through Government Policies.
Because they are considered a 'new business' not having 'traded for 12 months' they are left out of any financial assistance package being offered as stimulus.

Jay and Amanda didnt create the Covid 19 virus, they are folks who
have found themselves now unable to make a living as Hoteliers
through the regulation to control the virus.
The children are home from school, all 6 of them from 7 to 16 years old and although for many kids its a long school holiday,
For Jay and Amandas children it is a long wait to see if they will have a
home and if Dad has a job.

The bills dont stop coming and all at commercial rates but the drinkers cant drink and the meals are all takeaway.

Supporting Jay and Amanda right now is what they need to see the
crisis through.

We are a small community and the pub is the centre of a lot of activity, A meeting point for various community groups and one of the 3 retail
businesses in the town.
Any donations will be used to keep the pub afloat financially and in a
position to reopen as restrictions are relaxed.
