My name is Robin Downward, and I'm the Executive Director for the Curtain Call Collective. We're a non-profit that raises funds for youth theater arts programs in the Rogue Valley (OR).

Our main fundraiser is at risk of closing permanently, and we need your help to save it. Please give.

For 16 years, The Nightmare Chamber Haunted House has been more than just Oregon’s #1 haunted attraction — it’s been the beating heart of The Curtain Call Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth theater arts in the Rogue Valley.

Every scream, every ticket, every moment of terror has helped fund programs that give local students the chance to discover their creativity, confidence, and voice through live theater.

But now, we’re facing a nightmare of our own.

Rising costs, shrinking attendance, and increased competition have put The Nightmare Chamber at risk of closing its doors — possibly forever. Without it, The Curtain Call Collective loses its main source of funding, making it nearly impossible to continue providing arts education and creative opportunities for local youth.

Through Curtain Call Collective, we’ve provided:

Funding for local youth theater programs and productions

Equipment, supplies, and performance opportunities for students

Scholarships and creative mentorship for aspiring young performers

And beginning in 2026, we plan to expand our programs to include individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, bringing the joy and empowerment of theater to even more people who deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
