Save The Knight Bus
As many in our Austin community are aware, the Pace family has built their version of Harry Potter’s world as a gift to their community on Halloween. It started as a way for the family to heal and laugh again after Amanda’s battle with breast cancer in 2017. After Amanda was diagnosed again with breast cancer earlier this year, The Paces decided to take on The Knight Bus project to refocus. It was a huge effort that started with an original blue print of a British Routemaster bus, and then they added another level! It was also costly (around $2300 in foam insulation board and other materials).
Unfortunately, today a strong wind blew over the Knight Bus just as it was almost complete. The bus will require unanticipated repairs and they’re hoping that the community might help offset some of the cost so that they can finish it and have it ready by Halloween. Please help us SAVE The Knight Bus for Diagon Alley ATX!
