Save the American Legion Post 3 War Museum

American Legion Post 3 and War Museum have been in Greenville, SC for 101 years serving the veterans and the community. Our building is a proud historical landmark of this city.
Our Post was constructed in the early 1930's and now is in need of some dire repairs.
We are a non-profit organization and rely wholeheartedly on donations in order to serve and survive.
We had just reopened the War Museum, but had to close back up as the 34 year old AC unit quit running. Because of the delicate artifacts and valuable items that are held in the museum, climate control is an absolute must. We need at least $7000 to have this replaced as soon as possible.
Also, because of the age of the building, we need an additional $43000 to make some major repairs to the building itself in order to keep it in good operating condition. (Ex: the back stone steps are separating from the building) This alone will cost many thousands of dollars to be repaired.
Our commitment to the Veterans and this community is solid and has been for many years. We need this building to be here for generations to come and it is our mission to make sure that happens.
Any additional funds received will be used to benefit the veterans in our area.
