Save the Abutair family!
Donation protected
Hi world, my name is Emily. I’m a 29 year old new mom living in the rural south of the U.S I met and became friends with a Palestinian mother named Ayah Abutair. Ayah has 3 small children Maria 6, Waseem 4.5, Karim 3.5 and she and her husband Hatem Abutair are expecting their fourth child next month, a baby girl named Saja. Saja is already suffering from a calcium deficiency because Ayah has no access to the supplements or vitamins she needs as well as consistent food and water.
The Abutairs home and Hatem’s successful cellphone repair and accessories store that provided for his family were destroyed in an airstrike. The are displaced living in a small tent that floods frequently.
Their son Waseem’s health is declining due to an allergy to animal protein and the seige on Gaza has made meeting his dietary needs nearly impossible.
The brutal destruction of their city Khan Younis even resulted in their smallest son Karim falling into a sewage well and being hospitalized.
Ayah and I have become close and I’ve met her children, she trusts me and I want more than anything to not let her down.
We have put hours into communicating despite our language barrier and found the best options for getting the donations to The Abutairs.
Ayah and Hatem have lost nearly everything and all donations will help them survive the day to day (getting Waseem foods he isn’t allergic to, prenatals, food, clean water, preparing for baby Saja, etc) and hopefully help them get out of Gaza.
Ayah is such a good mother and kind soul, I want my friend and her family to survive this war and find peace anew.
