Hi my name is Edwin and I am taking the State Government to Federal Court in order to save Possum Park / Pirltawardli from the chainsaws & bulldozers.
Hundreds of mature trees have already been removed, including some estimated to be more than 100 years old, with further losses anticipated if works continue. Despite Government spin, there are many trees still to save.
If I lose, I may be held personally liable for the legal costs of the Government which could bankrupt me. Please chip in to the fighting fund.
The Adelaide Park Lands are National Heritage-listed and provide significant environmental, cultural, historical, and community value. The legal action seeks to compel consideration of these values and calls on the Federal Environment Minister to intervene to prevent further irreversible damage.

About the Organiser: Jake and Edwin have known each other since they were 10 years old & went to the same primary school and high school together.
How the funds will be used: If the funds are required, they will be transferred into the trust account of Nathan White Laywers.
In the event that the legal action does not proceed, concludes without requiring all funds raised, or surplus funds remain after legal & campaign costs have been met, any remaining funds will be returned to donors where practicable, or otherwise applied in a manner consistent with the purpose of protecting Possum Park / Pirltawardli and supporting the community campaign, with full transparency provided to donors.
