The situation in Gaza has gotten worse even after a month of ICJ’s to report on unwarranted civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip. Within the first 10 hours of ICJ’s ruling, the Israeli government suspended UNRWA’s funding from 10 countries. Civilians in Northern Gaza have been practically abandoned and are now forced to flee south towards the Rafah Border with Egypt to live in temporary shelters in refugee camps. The toll keeps rising with over 29,000 dead, 70,000 injured and many more declared missing. The Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Affairs Minister Riad Malki has said Israel has been using both famine and medicine as weapons of war. UNICEF has declared “the perfect storm for disease has begun.”

As displaced families flee northern conflict zones and settle in makeshift shelter, they require urgent and essential aid for basic survival. Aghosh UK and Alkhidmat Foundation are partnering with Palestinian International Medical Aid (PIMA) and others to provide Field Medical Health Units, ICU Ambulances, Medicine & Trauma Kits, and food & water supplies.
