In this age of austerity, Demeter Press learned that the amount of its only grant was cut in HALF.  Demeter Press must now raise $40,000 immediately to cover the loss of this revenue. This will allow us to move the remaining 4 books of the year to press. These books are the result of thousands of hours of hard work and will undoubtedly contribute to the vital topic of matricentric feminism, a topic that is woefully under-represented in mainstream academia.
