Save Log Cabin Park

Here in the Log Cabin Park and surrounding area we are trying to stop the SPOT ZONING for a 48 unit apartment complex to be built in this small quiet, safe, and a little bit of country in the city neighborhood.
Mr. Martin Henry has plans to change this single family R1 neighborhood to a multifamily R3 neighborhood.
We need to get the word out for our cause by putting up signs, mailings, and possibly getting an attorney.
The new hearing date tentatively is scheduled for March 8th at 5:30. That gives us about 7 weeks.
If this project gets rezoned for multifamily dwelling what is going to stop this kind of activity to happen in any single family dwelling zoned neighborhood.
Bringing a 48 unit apartment complex will cause noise and light pollution, disturb the natural ecosystem, unsafe streets for children and elderly walkers who quite frequently use these streets in this neighborhood. It will also decrease our home values. Another consequence will be added traffic on W. State Blvd. and Bass Road. We feel we have a safe neighborhood with neighbors who look out for each other.
With your support it will encourage us and make it possible to "fight for the little guy".
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
