My gorgeous son Lincoln is 7 years old and sadly he will lose all his teeth by the time he is 10, unless he gets immediate surgery. 

Lincoln suffers from Enamel hypoplasia. This and other health issues Lincoln has  are the result of the violence I experienced during my pregnancy with him. I left my partner after Lincoln was born but Lincoln is suffering the long lasting impact of the abuse. 

The Enamel hypoplasia impacts his jaw and has delayed his speech development. He is limited with what he can eat because some foods cause him more pain than others. 

Even though he gone through so much in his short life, Lincoln is always smiling and he loves life.  He love his sisters, brothers and of course me, his mum. When he hugs me I melt as I feel an abundance of love.  He is a very kind boy and everybody who knows him, loves him. He smiles even when he is in pain and he never complains about the pain. He has the most beautiful smile that radiates from the inside out.

His teeth are not covered under our dental scheme, the needed treatment is specialised and complex.

If he doesn't receive this surgery he will have ongoing problems including losing all his teeth as well as jaw problems.

I've tried saving money but I am a single mum so I can’t save the money needed fast enough. 

His dad is not in the picture.  I just don't know what else to do.  

I'm so desperate to help him.  It breaks my heart that because I stayed in a violent situation  he will lose all his teeth before he's 10.

I know what it is like to not be able to smile without shame attached.  It's heartbreaking.  My own teeth are a constant reminder of my life, my mistakes, my abuse, my shame.  I don't want Lincoln to feel the pain and the shame I feel.  He deserves better.

He is already in so much pain, and he has lived with it for so long. He deserves to have no pain , to eat with no pain, to smile with no pain. 

Please help me to save his smile.  Help me to save his confidence, his pride, his teeth.

The money we are raising is for the dentist, anaesthetic, specialist, hospital fees, travel and accommodations. 

He will have to have more surgeries when he is older.  He will need surgery on his jaw, and a surgery on his adult teeth.

He has a long road ahead, but if we can get through this first urgent surgery, I can start finding more work and ways to earn money to get him through the next surgeries.
