Save LGBT Lives in Kampala, Uganda

I am collecting funds for Happy Family Youth Uganda, an LGBT+ Shelter in Kampala, Uganda. I have been donating to this shelter for a while now, but they need more help than I can offer. I transfer money to the organization via WorldRemit.

Hundreds of Ugandan LGBT+ people are today without a place to call home due to

homophobic and transphobic families, further amplified in the Covid-19 era.

In response to the lived experiences of LGBT+ homeless people in Uganda, Uganda

Bringing liberation, safe housing, great health care, job opportunities, security, and

protection to LGBT+ Ugandans is our priority.

Our Vision: An independent LGBT+ community in Uganda.

Our Mission: To address the repetitive cycle of homelessness through empowerment,

safety, and transitioning to independence
