Jambalaya Arts Inc. is in need of additional funding in order to continue our relevant and important role in the arts, culture, educational and musical scene in downtown Oshkosh.

Current needs include upkeep and needed repairs to the historic building that we call home, as well as infrastructure rejuvenation. These expenses are vital in keeping our studio and artist workspaces in our current heavy traffic and high profile locale on Main Street.

Since 2001, Jambalaya Arts has been a home for artistic expression and learning. Our ongoing and changing roster of artists include both those new on their study and practice of their craft, to seasoned, established professionals. It offers both a place to display their work in a diverse and encouraging setting. Jambalaya is also a place of education, offering affordable classes on various artistic disciplines for both adults and children. As an organization, we will continue to offer more and varied classes in the future, making us a vital source of communal art appreciation in both theory and practice.

Jambalaya has hosted a wealth of local musical talent and bands to national recording artists, offering a safe, intimate, and non-alcohol all ages venue for musical artists both new and established.

For the past two years in July, Jambalaya has hosted Art in the Alley, a daylong festival of live music, art on display, and exhibitions of art being created. Both years proved to be an impressive success for the artists, attendees, and community as a whole. Art in the Alley shall be an annual event, growing both in size and quality as the years go on.

Jambalaya Arts Inc. has made strides in the last half decade in particular to be an essential player in the revitalization of Oshkosh’s Main Street shopping district as well as the community as a whole. We actively take part in seasonal city activities and events. We also are an intricate feature of the Farmer’s Market, the third largest in the state, which takes place from June to October of every year.

As we grow, we hope to expand upon all our efforts in continuing to bring art, performance, and education to the citizens of our city. The donations we receive will ensure that we continue to serve and offer an accessible place for the general public and the practicing creative.

We are a not-for-profit business and the gallery is staffed by our members and volunteers.

Our only income is from member dues and the small commission we take on sales of member art.

Your donations will 100% go to our building fund.
