Save Canadian small health and wellness businesses
Our coalition,Health and Wellness Relief is committed to saving the small health and wellness industry of Canada. This community has been decimated by lost revenues due to COVID-19 shut downs and thousands are now at risk of losing their small businesses.
The heath and wellness industry plays a crucial role in improving the physical and mental health of millions of Canadians. It also employs thousands of Canadians who provide critical services, alleviating the overall stress to our healthcare system.
Many of the studios, gyms and centers that are at risk of permanently shutting down, function as the heart and soul of individual communities. Now is not the time to give up on health and wellness, we need it more than ever.
These small businesses and their practitioners currently do not qualify for government relief. They need your support now!
Please donate if you can. We’ve created an assistance program where small health and wellness businesses can apply for support with either rent or payroll expenses. Your donation (whatever it is), is critical.
Our goal: $10,000 by May 25th.
100% of your gift goes towards the small businesses (minus the standard GoFundMe processing fees).
Please note: Funding is only eligible for Canadian small health and wellness businesses based organizations
Three things we are doing to support:
1. Raise $10,000 to support small health and wellness business who may need help paying their rent and keep their doors open.
2. Collect 5,000 signatures from the community to show our collective solidarity.
3. Send a letter to elected officials to get our needs heard.
