This is Finn (affectionately known as Finndog). He is brilliant and energetic, like most border collies, but more than that, Finn is a heart dog.

Finn brings his medicine of joy to a world much in need. He makes friends everywhere, and has never had a cross word with anyone. He is luminous in his spirit and brings light to shadow everywhere he goes.

Our beloved heart dog, Finn, was injured in the throat on Sunday, Dec. 7. He was admitted to critical care that evening and has since developed aspirated pneumonia. He is on oxygen, requires a CT scan, surgery, plasma transfusions, and additional medication and treatments for his recovery. The road to recovery may be longer than we expected, but we are trying to take it one day at a time.
