SAVE ERICA THOMPSON'S HOME MORTGAGE RELIEF FUND

For those of you who have yet to hear about my mother's disappearance back in autumn of last year here's an official news article from NBC to give you a general idea: https://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/family-members-fear-worst-disappearance-woman-missing-brookfield-illinois-home-n1108841  With that being said, my mother has left behind a small but lovely home in Brookfield, IL and I'm sincerely hoping that I can raise enough money to pay off her mortgage so I do not lose the home. Her house in need of some small repairs, nothing major but is in overall great shape. She's worked so hard as a single mother to maintain a beautiful home that I was blessed to have gotten to grow up in. In such a wonderful community with great friends and neighbors.  My name is Michael Russo. I'm Erica Thompson's only child and I'm currently disabled and have been on disability for a few years now. I cannot work nor could I ever afford to pay her mortgage month to month. Soon I'll be given Administrative letters to collect for her estate and I really do not want to sell the house. It not only would be a huge loss but it feels plain wrong to me. It is possible that she's still alive out there somewhere and I would like her to have a home to come back to. At the very least I'd maintain the home and probably move in. Although eerie and unsettling for me to do so, it's a better option than losing it entirely. Losing my mother has been the most tragic event in my life and here we are nearly a near later and I'm still so lost and confused. This has all been a great weight to carry as I was never prepared for something like this... I don't think anyone ever could be. I'm searching for some peace of mind and likewise, I will never stop looking for answers when it comes to my mother's disappearance. So with a heavy heart on my sleeve and an openly hopeful mind I ask for assistance. Please help me keep my mother's home. Donate if you can and share this everywhere possible. I know times are very hard and I'm asking for a lot but I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I didn't at least try. I would be able to maintain the utility bills and property taxes with financial assistance because of my disability, it's just the mortgage that I'm trying to cover. Even the repairs can wait. Thank you for taking the time out to read all of this and God bless you for any help you can offer. ❤
