In 2013 without any proof of emotional, psychological, or physical harm, caused by me, my 5 year old daughter was removed from my care, as her primary parent, and placed with her abusive father. During this transition a CPS report was opened as her father had returned my daughter with large bruises on her head and hand prints on her arms. Without any evidence I was placed in supervised visits for the following three years, while her father acquired 8 Cps cases for allegedly abusing my daughter, which my daughter reported herself, along with pleading not to return to her abuser. These reports came from supervisors, therapists, and my daughter's school Her father has a very colorful criminal background, including but not limited to violating a restraining order from his girlfriend right before me, a felony for theft,  burglary, property damage, fleeing the police, including a range of traffic violations.  Her father was also open with investigator about abusing me and my daughter, referring it as corporal punishment.  In 2017 my daughter was allowed to transition into unsupervised home visits with me. During this time her father's regard for the court order was blatantly disregarded on numerous occasions. All the while, parties were pleading for the guardian ad litem to contact CPS and would note it at the top of the supervision notes. I personally witnessed the GAL yelling over the phone at the therapist for contacting CPS. Out of fear of retaliation from the courts I did not file any CPS reports, but started recording and documenting the abuse my daughter would report.  On August 17th 2018 my daughter arrived at my home, revealing a quarter size abrasion on the back of her head and numerous marks on her leg. My daughter explained that the abrasion on the head was from her father throwing her into the car, the red marks with underlining bruises was from my daughter's father holding her down while his girlfriend  took a bobby pin out of her hair and continued to press it into my daughters leg to extract information. I immediately took my daughter to the police where she recanted the same story, and had to give it a second time to another officer. I did contact CPS who requested I have my daughter examined,  so I took my daughter to Children's Hospital where another CPS case was opened by the doctor that examined her. CPS put a "family arraignment" in place, directing me to keep my daughter until I could get before the judge, as my daughter was clearly fearful of her environment at her father's.  Being of lower income it took me all week to collect the previous CPS reports, affidavit, and ex parte motion, which I did present to the court. However, her father makes over 100,000 a year and has a lawyer that filed a motion before me.  Yesterday, my daughter was yet again returned to her abuser, where I was threatened not to cause anymore problems. I pleaded with the judge to just talk to my daughter, which was denied. It is clear that excluding the obvious torture, if my daughter's head would have been injured one inch over she would have been paralyzed or dead. As a mother that was abused by the same abuser I was told by the Guardian Ad Litem to forget what he had done to me, so not to affect her relationship with the man that was continually abusing my daughter.  Out of options, knowing her environment, and her pleas not to return. I ask how do I protect my child?     I am having a huge garage sale this weekend, so if you have any unwanted items, please feel free to donate them to the sale. All proceeds will go to getting a lawyer to protect her from any further abuse. I have been blessed to have some great girl friends that have been helping me raise money through lyft, the garage sale, and now an online card drive.
