Life happens, as well all know and can really put a damper on any situation. Stressed out is not the word for how I am feeling right now....
My son recently had had to get braces. Yes I know these things happen and its life, but the fee is outrageous and I am having to pay for it mysel. I feel lost. His father refuses to help me with anything. I have tried to ask for $50 and get nothing. I am not able to maintain the monthly payments, I'm either behind on that bill or other bills in the house. I am now stressing on how will I manage to provide a Christmas for my son when I can barely keep up with these payments. Yes we have food on the table and roof over our heads and that is most important. But what child doesn't wait for christmas morning to arrive?
My son is 13 years old and as most parents know, at this age gifts can be costly. I have however talked and discussed with him, holding back my tears, that mom(myself) may not be able to give him the chrsitmas he deserves. Beacsue of the extra payment we now have for his braces. Although he underatands, I know deep down he is and will be sad. I dont want to see the hurt in his eyes, and can't handle having him wake up Christmas morning with next to nothing. I do work a full time job and again, life happens. But why does it have to happen right before Christmas. Breaks my heart not to be able to give him what he needs now let alone the chrsitmas he deserves. He already has the disappointment of his father's unbroken promises, I cant bare to see him wake up Christmas morning with the stuff on his list not there. If ever there was chrsitmas miracle, I need it this year.
