After the Taliban’s unanticipated military takeover of Kabul, large numbers of people are being targeted and hunted down by the their fighters. They are facing daily struggle to get by with their jobs gone, banks still shut, food prices soaring and their lives at risk. The current political crisis has turned into a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
Our non-profit/charitable organisation has continuously been receiving pleads for help from people whose lives are at grave risk in Afghanistan.
Hazaras have been struggling with systematic persecution, structure discrimination and land confiscation for over a century due their ethnic and religious identities.
During the Taliban regime in 1990s, Hazaras were systematically targeted and more than 5000 were killed within just 3 days . Taliban also attacked and carried out massacres in many other cities including Bamiyan, Daykundi and Behsud.
Now with the Taliban’s military takeover of Afghanistan, Hazaras have become one of the most at-risk groups in Afghanistan - Particularly given Taliban’s notorious historical animosity towards Hazaras. Taliban are specifically targeting Hazara journalists, judges, civil society activists, and academics. These individuals and families need safe houses and safe passage to a safe country. A group of international volunteers are helping these identified individuals and families to a safe place, and we need your help to save their lives.
Since the Taliban takeover, thousands of Hazaras are forced to leave their homes either by Kochis , Taliban or their affiliates from many districts and cities. In Daikundi province , the number of displaced families ranged from 400 to 2,000 from 15 villages. In neighboring Helmand Province, about 260 families were forcibly displaced while more than 2,000 families faced forced displacement.
Most of these families are displaced in different cities and districts with no home, food, clothing or access to healthcare. They are in need of food and shelter.

As a British-Hazara organisation representing the persecuted Hazaras, we intend to do everything in our power to help those displaced and relocate as many at-risk Hazaras as we can. We need your help to achieve this! Please donate as much or as little as you can.
Your donated money will be used for travel, food, and shelter for at most-risk families who has no other option but to flee to safety in order to save their lives. We will also help families who are forcibly removed from their homes by the Kochis or Taliban buy providing them with food and shelter.
