Sasha's Path to Becoming a College Graduate
Donación protegida
Hi, my name is Sasha, and I’m a 34-year-old female with one dream: to go back to school and earn my Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration Office Technology.
16 years ago, right after my high school graduation and at the start of my freshman year at Greenville Technical College, I was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and ulcers (2009–2010), which caused me to miss a lot of class time. These health challenges caused my grades to suffer, and even though I filed an appeal and provided documentation to explain what happened, the appeal was denied. Because of this denial, I lost my financial aid status and had to put my education on hold.
This year, I decided it was time to finally finish what I started. I’ve already started the application process to return to school, but once again, my financial aid was denied. Despite this setback, I’m still determined to move forward. I have been informed that I would need to pay out of pocket for my classes until my GPA is in good standing to qualify for financial aid again. Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to cover these costs on my own while also managing my everyday living expenses.
Going back to school to complete this degree will not only make me the first college graduate out of my mother’s 3 children, but it’ll also give me the skills I need to grow in my career and build a secure future.
My goal is to complete my college education, and not only create stability for myself but to also help other women in my community who need administrative and business support.
I’m currently raising funds to cover:
• Tuition & fees for my first semester (Fall 2025)
• Books and any essential software
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps me make it one step closer to starting school so that I am able to complete my degree and create the future I’m determined to work hard for. Thank you in advance for supporting me, believing in me, and giving me the chance to finally finish my education.
