Sarana Urgently Needs Our Help

My dear friend Sarana has had a tough year and is very distressed.  She is Brittle Diabetic which is a form of Type 1 Diabetes that is hard to control and requires weekly care.  In addition, due to budget cuts her job was eliminated in February 2017.  While looking for work she used up all her savings to supplement her unemployment which has run out and she is unable to apply again until February 2018.  There is nowhere left for her to turn because all community and church resources have been exhausted.  She has been living without heat and is on the verge of losing her apartment.  Separately, the employment and health issues are difficult; combined they are nearly overwhelming. I am trying to help her bridge the financial gap from now until February, so that she doesn’t lose her home.  Sarana is a hard worker, who cares deeply for other people.  Any help you can provide will be going to someone who will use it well.  Thank you.
