On Aug 1 I taught some evening dance classes. Early morning Aug 2 I woke up to losing my ability to use my legs with absolutely no warning. The cause is tentatively a rare autoimmune disorder. Doctors have been struggling to come up with a diagnosis...tons and tons of tests including 8 MRIs, 2 CT scans, 2 lumbar punctures, 1 x-ray, and an absolute ton of samples taken...a bunch sent to the Mayo Clinic. Add to that an ambulance ride,  18 days admitted to the hospital, and then an additional upcoming estimated 1-2 weeks in inpatient rehab and financially this becomes huge. We DO have good medical insurance so it probably isn't as completely devastating as it could be, but there will still be truly vast bills. Many people have asked about helping. Anything you can donate financially would of course be helpful. But IF YOU CAN'T HELP FINANCIALLY,  your thoughts, prayers, lit candles, good juju, reiki, energy work, whatever your thing is would be very, very welcome. I'm on a walker at the moment struggling to bring my left leg back online, but no matter what, I am already improving, I am going to continue to improve and I'll be back dancing soon. Never, ever stop dancing, and keep your ARMS UP! Some time you may need that core strength and upper body strength more than you can imagine. Love to all. Saqra
