Santos Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief
Raising funds to send goods to the Santos family in Puerto Rico
As of October 22, 2017, approximately 80% of the people still have no power and projected to take several months before they are at 100%. A small percentage of banks/ ATMs are available. Very limited cell services available. High unemployment rate due to the power outage and expected to be that way for months…I repeat, sources of income have been lost.
Problem: Lack of personal income. Goods from various relief efforts are not reaching the people in need.
Solution: Provide goods (food/ toiletries) directly to our families and bypassing the large organized efforts. Ship via USPS which is now shipping directly to most locations/ addresses.
Goal: Raise funds to ensure continued family support as they will be in need for months to come. The funds will help mitigate shipping costs as well as allow more purchasing power to deliver the needed goods. Funds are needed as soon as possible and no later than November 16, 2017.
