Dear Patrons and Friends,
Responding to the outbreak of Covid-19, Sangria 46 closed its doors on March 15th. While we plan to reopen and once again provide a feel-good spot perfumed with garlic and saffron, pitchers of sangria flowing, for now we must embrace new habits of domesticity.
Safety is the first priority, and so Ariel and I will do what we can, and loans may come through in the future, but our hearts go out to the 20 employees who have lost their jobs and face financial insecurity and anxiety now.
Those of you who frequent Sangria 46 know that the special ingredient of the restaurant is our international staff, a warm-hearted team of vivid personalities, each with a unique charm. Some are supporting families, and others have no family here to rely on during these stressful times.
