Sandy Niccoli's medical expenses

Dear Friends,
On Tuesday, June 12, our dear friend, Sandy Niccoli suffered a stroke while on vacation in the Cayman Islands. She has been hospitalized since then and will remain there for a few more days. She is stable now, but still unable to communicate. We are concerned about the mounting out-of-pocket, out-of country medical expenses, which now exceed $50,000. Medicare does not cover any medical expenses when you are outside of the U.S.
When the medical staff determines it is okay, Sandy will be medivaced back to the U.S. and we want to help. The med-flight could cost $35,000 or more.
Sandy has ALWAYS been available whenever needed and now it’s our turn to help her. She is always on the ‘giving’ end. In the nearly 50 years that Sandy has been our friend, there have been hundreds of families she has helped in some way or other. Many of you have benefitted from Sandy’s kindness. Now it’s time to Pay It Forward!
