Expenses for Sandi Christensen

In December of last year, I was given the most devestating news I had ever received. At the age of 54, my mom had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer and was given six months to one year to live.  There is no way to prepare yourself for news like that.  As of today, she has gone through 3 different types of chemotherapy, none of which have given any progression.
The number of days my mom has left on this earth is unknown. One of the most paintful things I have ever had to deal with is knowing that any conversation I have with my best friend could be the last.
The home that she lives in needs quite a bit of work, and we are trying to do everything that we can to make her last days comfortable. Part of not being able to prepare for life altering news like this, is that there is no way to set yourself or your family up for it mentally, emotionally, or financially.
November Update - More news, the Goverment has decided to pull all but $800/mo of my Mom's disability pay. So now not only do we need help for future but current costs as well. On top of that she now has to pay $1300.00 in home taxes by feb. 2016
We are asking for donations to be able to make the end as easy as possible for my mom.  Any donations will go to hospital bills, medications, home repairs, in home nurse, and unfortunately funeral costs when the time comes. There are not enough words to express our thankfulness and gratitude for any of the donations that we recieve. Thank you and God Bless.
