Samrawit Richards Memorial Fund

With a heavy heart, I regret to inform you that my wife Samrawit Yimer-Richards passed away on 15 Aug 2018.  

Sam moved from Ethiopia to the United States in Sept 2015.  She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January 2016.  In spite of everything, she remained positive with a smile on her face.  Maintaining a healthy balance for her family, because that was most important to her.  She leaves behind her Husband and 3 children.  Not to mention her Mother and extended family in Ethiopia.  We all loved her so much and she will be missed.

I am humbly requesting assistance for funeral and memorial expenses for my wife Samrawit Yimer-Richards.  Insurance is only covering half of the expenses for the funeral and memorial while the remaining will not be covered.  

The date of the funeral has not been set at this time due to the visa processing for Sam's Mother in Ethiopia.  Upon the approval of her mother's visa to enter the United States, I will inform all the family and friends of all arrangments.  

This is a sad and hard time for me and my family and we appreciate all the love and support.
