Sagemont Hurricane Harvey Relief
Donation protected
My name is Crystal Ford and I am a member of the Sagemont Community. On Friday August 25, 2017 Hurricane Harvey hit the Sagemont/Southbelt area. Numerous families have water in their homes and had to be rescued or swam to safety. Dobie High School opened the doors to these families. Our community has pulled together to take care of them, from the volunteers who are cooking and serving food, to those who are sorting through clothes or dog sitting for people to go eat and the list goes on and on, to those who have donated items.
Many people have been inquiring and wanting to make a monetary donation. We do not have a safe way to accept money so Marie Flickinger and I have opened this account for us to collect it. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. This money will be used to buy food, diapers, wipes, formula, toiletries, and much more that is needed. We need help to continue to take care of these people while they are at Dobie and even once the rain stops and the water proceeds. So many people have lost everything and we need to help them get back on their feet. Thank you for your contributions, thoughts, and prayers.
Thank you,
Crystal Ford
