Safe Hugs for Seniors

For over 10 years we've volunteered at a local Senior Care community. Since Covid restrictions began in March 2020, the residents have been unable to have close contact with their loved ones. Most visits are often outside with masks and social distancing requirements.

We saw these great Safe Hug Windows  yesterday and were immediately excited. Our church is able to provide one window, however our facility could really use three - one for each of their wings. They are keeping residents in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care in their separate areas to minimize the risk of Covid exposure within the facility. 

So we're raising funds for the additional 2 window inserts. There is a 2-3 week turn around time and we'd love to place the order before Thanksgiving. Our hope is that the residents and their families could have more meaningful interactions before Christmas.

This is a short timeline, but we would be so excited to help our friends see their families soon.
