On Wednesday, November 23, our beloved Saddy passed away. Anyone that knew her knows she was always the life of any party. She had the most outgoing personality, and she’s truly going to be missed by so many friends and family. This is the hardest thing our family has gone through.

Throughout Saddy’s life here on earth, she made such beautiful memories with her friends and family in such a short time. However, in the year of July 2021, she suffered a hardship. At the age of 35 years old she was diagnosed with Bile duct cancer. Being diagnosed with cancer was one of the most challenging things she has ever encountered. But she wanted to keep fighting; on July 20, 2021, the doctor was able to do surgery to remove her gallbladder tumor along with the bile duct and 70% of her liver as well. The surgery was successful, but unfortunately, a few cells remained in her lymph nodes, and she had to start chemotherapy.

Saddy moved down to South Florida to begin her therapy; as time went on, the doctor and Saddy noticed that she was allergic to Oral and IV therapy; therefore, the treatment had to be done carefully and slowly. Saddy then went to Boston to do a trial for her cancer to be able to give her more time with us, but unfortunately, after a hard battle, her Bilirubin was high, and they had to stop it. She started to go into organ failure as well.

The doctors then said there was nothing else they could do, as any helpful, loving family would do; we took care of her at home. To complete one of her last wishes, she asked to die here in her home, not in a hospital, as she always told us she hated hospitals. So, this is what we did we made her comfortable and surrounded her with love between her partner and family.

As we knew this time would come, we saw her suffering more throughout the days. We thank God and many of our friends and families for giving us the strength to push forward. We ask if anyone can donate, as any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with the expenses for her funeral, future maintenance, and contributions to American Cancer Society as they helped the family throughout the journey. We will update everyone on services as soon as we get the dates and times.

Feel free to reach out or contact any of us at any time.

As Saddy would say, “I won my battle with cancer.”
