Elijah's 100 Miles in November

My name is Elijah and I was so excited to meet my mammy and daddy that I entered the world 17 weeks earlier than expected . I spent my first 4 and a half month in hospital receiving exceptional care from James Cook Neonatal Team. I have been such a brave boy and I have overcome so many hurdles and I am still only 6 month old!
While I was in hospital, mammy and daddy made a friend called Lottie, who set up a charity a couple of years ago called Leo's, in the name of her little boy who was born very early like me but sadly went to heaven.
Lottie and Leo's have helped my mammy and daddy through what have been the toughest days of their lives. They provided counselling, peer support, 1st hand experience and friendship while I was in hospital. Since I came home they have provided us, as a family with so much support and exciting opportunities for me such as baby yoga, baby massage, attachment counselling and sensory play at Sunshine Wood ☀ etc.
My mammy and daddy say that they couldn't have got through the last 6 month without the support that this charity have provided them and that they wouldn't have had access to the activities and support which continue to help all three of us today. Leo's have reassured us that they will continue to support us in the coming years--how lucky are we!?
Leo's are now raising money to open a 'Nurture Centre' for families of premature and sick babies. This centre will provide a place for families to access the provisions offered, while feeling safe to do so despite whatever else is going on in the world.
I am so happy that mammy and daddy got the support they needed and I will always be grateful to Lottie and their team for that. I want to try to raise some money to give back to Leo's, to thank them for their support and to help other families like mine, who may need their services in the future.
So..... Come ☔ or ☀, with the help of mammy, daddy, granny and grandad (pushing me in my pram) and my 4 legged friend Topper and anyone else who wants to join us! I am going to walk 100 miles in November!
It would be impossible to put a price on the support we have received from Leo's but any donations that you could help me raise would be amazing!
