Walsh Family

My dear friend and co-worker, Pete Walsh, passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago at the age of 50. He leaves behind his wife, Coyla, and 7 children, 3 of whom still live at home (2 in college and one in high school).  (Thanks to Coyla for sharing this wonderful picture of Pete napping with their Labrador, Archer.) Pete was the rock and foundation of his family. He was a dedicated husband and father. He had many hobbies and loves...music (playing and listening), gaming, cooking, shoveling snow (yes, he loved snow enough to enjoy this), his home state of Virginia, playing with his grandkids, watching his kids in their activities, talking to his wife, and walking his dog...to name a few. One of my favorite things about talking to Pete was hearing his knowledge of music. Mention any subject and he would randomly be reminded of a song that in some way related and send you a link to a youtube video of the song all within 15 seconds of the first comment!  He was such a joy to work with and he is very much missed by those of us lucky enough to have been on the team with him.
Pete was the primary income earner for the family and his job provided their health benefits. The probate process that must be completed before Coyla has access to any funds is lengthy and the start has been unusually difficult. She has many expenses that must be paid now and in the upcoming months, long before any funds will be released to her. My co-workers and I have set up this fund to try and raise money to help cover the Walsh's basic living expenses for these first few months. We thank you for any assistance you are able to provide.
