On Friday 25th November my brother, Jack and his partner Paige found out the devastating news that their 8 month old little girl had cancer. After a difficult weekend waiting for confirmation it was confirmed she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a very rare form of cancer which has spread to her lungs, kidneys, stomach, ovaries, heart and head. She has started chemotherapy and will continue on an intense treatment plan for the next six months at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

Unfortunately the hospital cannot provide accommodation for two parents, leaving Jack with the prospect of having to pay for hotels, Airbnb for the foreseeable. The cost of paying for accommodation is really expensive, especially with Christmas. Please please if you can donate anything to help pay towards accommodation to enable Jack to be as close as possible to his daughter and partner at this difficult time.

We have a little fighter here, so any funds left when she finishes chemotherapy will be donated all to Great Ormond Street Hospital to hopefully help those in a similar situation. No parent should go through this, let alone have the worry and stress of knowing where they can afford to stay.
