We were on a mini-vacation in Houston with a friend. My son, Ryder wasn't acting himself. We brought him to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. He was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). He also has 20+ hemorrhages on his brain, and he's anemic. He's on a ventilator and cooling pad to keep the fever down. We got to the hospital with a white blood count of 400,000 which is way too high. After the blood transfusion and 1st round of chemo it came down to 90,000! We are asking that everyone take a minute during the day to pray over our family because Ryder has a long way to go.
