Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Lisa Poniatowski the aunt of Marissa Moder and great aunt of Lincoln(5)and Makayla (13).

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to all of you. On 8/15/23 we lost Ryan Beimal to a terrible tragedy. His sudden and unexpected passing has left us in shock, and grief.

Anyone who knew Ryan knows that he lived his life with kindness, and had an unyielding love for his son Lincoln and step-daughter Makayla. Ryan and Lincoln were best friends. They loved swimming, fishing, bicycle riding together.

During these challenging times, we face not only the emotional pain but also the financial strain that this will cause Marissa who is now a single mom.

Marissa works two jobs so any additional help will allow her to spend more time with the kids. She gives back constantly to the community through both lines of work. She owns the Sign Pixies a local lawn sign rental company that has helped many local families celebrate their special occasions. She is now a Probation officer after serving the Nassau county Police Department as a Police Dispatcher for the past 7 years.
