Ryan and Kevin Sullivan Memorial

Donation protected
Ryan Sullivan was taken from us in 2004, 15 years ago. I know I'm not alone when I say that not a day has gone by since that I don't think about him. His death was a devastating blow to his family, his community and everyone who knew him. We lost Kevin Sullivan 11 years later in 2015 and the Somerville community once again felt the devastation of losing a beloved son, brother, nephew and friend.  Ryan Sullivan was my best friend. Kevin Sullivan was like an older brother to me. The Sullivan family has always been like a second family to me. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Their loss will never leave us and but neither should the memories we all hold of these two brothers who meant so much to all of us. For years the wall on Warwick Street served as a makeshift memorial and several of Ryan's old friends had a plaque put up to remember him. Now the house where the memorial lies has been sold and will be developed and the fence will be gone, but we won't let that stop us.
For that reason we have commissioned a memorial to be made to remember Ryan and Kevin and to honor their legacy to their loved ones. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to paying for the memorial, to be produced by Skylight Studios in Woburn, MA.  The donations will be withdrawn into my personal account then paid directly to Skylight Studios. Any leftover funds will be donated to the Alex Foster Foundation in Ryan and Kevin's names. Not a penny will be unaccounted for. The memorial would be placed on the bike trail, just a street over from Warwick. The details have already been arranged and the Sullivan family has approved of the design. Now we need the community Ryan and Kevin loved so well to come together to help us fund it.
We've attached a photo of the design which is ready to be made once we secure funding. The memorial isn't cheap but I know that if everyone who's lives were touched by Ryan and Kevin gave what they could we could make more than just this memorial. We could probably build a skyscraper just with the spare change from everyone they played hockey with over the years.
So please give what you can and we can make this memorial a reality.Thank you.
