Ryan & Ginger's Struggle with Infertility

Ryan and Ginger have been married for almost 3 ½ years. When they started their journey together as husband and wife, they could not wait for their next adventure, creating a family of their own. Infertility wasn’t even a thought for them. But with each passing month and no pregnancy, their disappointment grew. They knew that something just wasn’t right. Working with naturopaths, acupuncturists, family physicians, the Olive fertility clinic and Dogus IVF Center, Ryan and Ginger did test after test, 3 failed rounds of IUIs, 1 failed IVF in Vancouver and 1 failed IVF using donor eggs in Greece. A bill totaling $32,000 with no miracle baby. You can only imagine how they feel….
Ryan and Ginger deserve to be parents because they really want to be parents. Ginger’s life has been dedicated to working with and teaching children. Ginger is a natural nurturer, she is the big sister in her family of 4 kids, she taught swimming and dance lessons as a teen which lead to her career as a French teacher and Dance teacher at a Langley high school. Ginger’s passion for education and child development doesn’t stop there, she is also the President of BC Dance Educators Association. Ginger is the fun-loving Auntie who is always willing to pretend play or break out into a dance party. It is without a doubt, Ginger would be a loving mother and excellent role model.
Ryan has been working in the broadcast industry for over 10+ years. He is creative, passionate and for those of you that know him, he houses an endless amount of facts and knowledge. Ryan is genuine and speaks from the heart. Since the moment Ryan and Ginger were married, he could not wait to be a father. It’s all he’s ever wanted. You can tell he will be a good father by the way he is an Uncle. Uncle Ryan is dependable, he will watch his niece and nephew any chance he gets. He’s the type of Uncle that brings the kids new baseball hats because he saw them in the store front. He’s the type of Uncle that will play barbies even though he’s been up since 4am. He’s even that type of Uncle to all his friend’s kids.
The struggle with infertility has left Ryan and Ginger feeling pretty hopeless, they see their dream of creating a family slipping away. Swimming in debt from fertility treatments really takes a toll on a person and a marriage. They really hoped the IVF treatment in Greece would have given them their miracle baby. In October 2019, Ginger opted to do another test to see if there is anything they could do to help an embryo implant. The test determined that one more day of taking progesterone would increase her chances of it implanting.
With this new positive news, this is where your help is needed. They are hoping to either try IVF one last time or start the process of adoption .
