Surgical Supplies for Rwandan Trip
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Quinn Lippmann and I am in my final year of training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (also known as Urogynecology).
I am traveling to Kigali and Butare, Rwanda for the month of February to repair fistulas (injuries that can happen in childbirth leaving women with a connection between the rectum and the vagina) and to repair pelvic organ prolapse (like a hernia in the vagina that can bulge out and make walking and other activites very uncomfortable).
Because resources are very limited in Rwanda, I would like to bring as many medical supplies as possible and am raising money to purchase sterile gloves, face masks, sutures, and pessaries (devices to treat prolapse without surgery).
Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated!
