Russ Starner Housing Fund

Russ Starner, a fellow Realtor,  has also been a real estate trainer and Coach for many years.  He loves to help real estate agents become successful in their career.  For those who know him, despite his personal challenges, he always has a smile on his face and a positve, uplifting message.

In July of last year,  Russ suffered a stroke and has had several other strokes  since then.  Beside the serious health issues that he has been dealing with,  he has also  been struggling to get back on his feet.  With no job, no income, no family to help him and no medical insurance, it has been a daunting task.  He has suffered challenges that would have broken most of us, but he still maintains a positive attitude hoping tomorrow will be better and that god will take care of him.

I have been helping him for the last couple of months  get some social services in place for him. Hopefully, soon, he will have some medical coverage and disability income coming in.  However, in the meantime he really needs to find a safe, stable place to live.

Russ was discharged from the hospital today, the second time in 2 months, and unfortunately, will be spending the night in a shelter because he has no where to live.

I am asking  you to find it in your heart to help me get enough money to get Russ into a place to live.  

This weekend at mass Father Patrick's homily said that our faith requires us to take action and help those in need.  That Faith is meaningless of we don't put action and help those less fortunate. Russ deserves a break.  He needs our help. Please help me help Russ find a safe, stable place to live.
