UNICEF #RUNTHEGAP FOR CHILDREN
Donation protected
Hi friends and family,
I have decided to participate in the UNICEF Ireland #RUNTHEGAP challenge for children. This challenge is to support vulnerable children around the globe.
Did you know that, in some of the world’s poorest countries, a child must walk an average of 50km a week to reach the closest school and access education?
For this reason, I am going to be running 50K in this month of October in hopes of raising money to support this cause.
The money raised will ensure that during the rainy seasons' children won't have to travel through paths which become completely submerged underwater, making the journey to school not only even more dangerous but also challenging. Access to education is a basic human right, which is as vital as food or medicine when it comes to child development.
During October, walk in the shoes of a vulnerable child and take on the #RUNTHEGAP challenge.
Help vulnerable children access education by walking, jogging or running 50km in a month.
