Run the Distance for Trans Lifeline

Tax deductible
It has been nearly 1 year since we lost our beautiful friend Emma Deboncouer. Emma was our classmate in UCSF's nurse practitioner program, and had plans to graduate and serve her trans community with the highest quality care. Emma was a fierce advocate for many others who are mistreated and marginalized by the healthcare system, including sex workers, drug users, and undocumented people. She always spoke up, and she always listened.

We are running the Big Sur Marathon & 12k April 28th to honor Emma's legacy, and we are raising money in her memory for Trans Lifeline. Trans Lifeline was one of Emma's favorite organizations, a non-profit that includes a Hotline taking calls from all over the country from trans people in crisis, as well as a Microgrants program that distributes money to members of the trans community who need it. Their vision is to fight the endemic of trans suicide and improve overall life-outcomes for trans people by facilitating justice-oriented, collective community aid.

Please join us by making a contribution to honor Emma, support Trans Lifeline, and fuel our running efforts. A donation as small we $5 or as big as $500 all help us inch toward our $3,000 goal. Let's do this!!
