Run for Olivia

Olivia was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma (eye cancer) as an infant. Her left eye was removed shortly after the cancer was found. Olivia has had 6 tumors in her right eye, and she are currently down to 2. Olivia underwent a year of chemotherapy and has had 35 surgeries on her right eye. Because the chemothetapy stopped working to treat the tumors in Olivia's right eye, Olivia's rockstar doctor's at Riley treated the tumors in surgery with lasers & cryotherapy. Her mom Shannon was told Olivia would not make it to her 1st birthday. But she has surpassed their expectations & overcame every challenge she was dealt. When more cancer & tumors showed up, her family prayed against them.
From her mom Shannon, "This June, Olivia will undergo a full load of appointments and check-ups to see where she stands. I know that God has big plans for Olivia. She has taught me more in her short 10yrs than I could possibly teach her in a lifetime. Olivia continues to inspire and give hope to all she meets. Olivia has always said, "I have cancer. Cancer doesn't have me." Our family really gets all of our positivity and zest for life from Olivia. Olivia lives life to the fullest. Olivia's motto is to Dream Big!!!
