Run for Newlands

In April Erin and Logan Cassidy turned 11, a friend bought them a virtual run and they decided on a 100k , their older brother age 13 was included and their older sister Antonia decided to take on the challenge herself but 50k as had just started running .

Within 20 days they completed the virtual run and had run altogether 422km .

It made them think how they could in May  raise money for a local charity .  That part was  
easy Erin and Logan and other St. John’s Primary School pupils had been writing to a local Residential Home for young adults .

I have been speaking to the manager there and these residents have been in total
lockdown and not able to see family or friends but the amazing staff there are doing a brilliant job and keeping them safe and most of all well .

So we want to raise £500 so when it’s safe to do so , that a party will be organised with food entertainment for all the residents and staff and also family and friends .

So the challenge for May for running is a staggering 600km altogether .

Antonia , Luke, Logan and Erin are already working hard on this target , so please give however little it all helps.

Lets make this a party to remember for the residents and staff and their families and friends .
