We are excited to announce that we are adopting! The Rumbaugh’s will soon be a family of four! Adoption has always been something the Lord has laid on our hearts and something we desired for our family. The Lord, in His goodness, provided an opportunity to us this spring - just nine months after having our son, Desmond. We are so excited to have our children grow up together so close in age!
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them."
Psalm 127: 3-5
We are thankful for your prayers during this time as we go through the process of adoption training courses, completing a home study, and working on completing the legalities of the adoption. If you would like to help contribute to these costs, we have created a fundraiser. We have purchased a blank jigsaw puzzle and are ‘selling’ individual pieces for $30 each. For as many pieces as you buy, we will write your name(s) over that many pieces, creating an amazing collage of names of everyone who helped us in this process. We will then frame the puzzle and display it in our nursery.
