Rufus Has So Much Life Left – Help Us Give Him a Chance

Rufus is 13 and has been with us since he was a puppy. He’s grown up with his two human brothers and is happiest with his head on our laps, a ball nearby, and someone ready to throw it (again and again… and again!).

Recently, Rufus developed cancerous lumps on his hind leg. They’re growing quickly and causing him discomfort. He’s started licking them, and we’re worried they’ll become infected. The vet has recommended surgery,possibly even amputation, to give him a chance at more time with us.

Rufus is still full of life. He’s not ready to go, and we’re not ready to say goodbye. But the cost of surgery is more than we can manage alone, so we’re reaching out for help.
