Polly's Medical Bills

 Venmo @ Nick-ehrnstein     Hey everyone Nick here. On Wednesday I received a text that Polly , our beloved cat was picked up by animal control, she was at the shelter but was ok. I was relieved and headed down to pick her up from her night in kitty jail. When I arrived I received a phone call making sure I knew that Polly was injured. Time bent in that terrible way when you hear news like this. We quickly came to learn that Polly , who is mostly indoor but was caught outside in the rain the night before. Had been hit and run over. She has multiple broken bones including a broken humerus, Pelvis, a damaged urethra and  and needs surgery immediately. In fact, I wasn't even able to take her from the shelter until I had a place set up for her to go. I was crushed. I couldn't think straight. I was supposed to just pick her up. I couldn't (and still cant) imagine the pain she was in. I kept picturing her little sweet face, her on curled on the couch,  or how I she meows when I scare her ugh NIGHTMARE.

I was able to secure an appointment at Pet Specialists of Austin, and they confirmed Polly's major injuries: 
• Broken humerus (upper front leg bone)
• Broken pelvis
• SI luxation (dislocation in the pelvic joint)
• Hip luxation (dislocation of the hip joint)
*Polly also required a blood transfusion 

While I can't begin to describe the pain Polly has suffered, I am EXTREMELY grateful to both Austin Animal Control and Austin Animal Center, who were able to:
1. Find Polly after a traumatic injury and
2. Save her life, stabilizing her enough to have the options we have now.


The medical bills are pretty staggering. I will post all receipts here. The care up until this point has been around $6,000 mark. Both of the Surgeries will total in the 7-8k range they have told me. Totaling in the 12-15,000 range after everything is said and done, Impossible situation turned more impossible. 

I am setting this fund at $8,000 even though the cost may double this I am prepared for the rest of the bill.

Private Mini Ramp available for rent in south Austin TX.  40/hr 

If you're  avoiding the skatepark due to Covid or just don't like all the vibes at the skatepark as a beginner. My ramp is 3ft tall and 10 ft wide in private backyard. Shaded and finished with Skatelite. You can use the side gate and will see no one! up to 4-5 people at once.  Skate at your own risk and please be safe this is a neighborhood.

We have a room dedicated to  Depop with, 2 photo lights, a cream  paper backdrop and is perfect for shooting products and clothing. I have a Sony camera you can use.  Friends or friends of friends only due to it being in my home. I can be in another room so that you may have privacy and no contact.
