Maria's 40th fundraiser in aid of RSPCA Macclesfield

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Today is the 23rd of March 2025 and I'm starting this fundraiser with precisely a month to go till my 40th Birthday! Woo-hoo!

Honestly, it does feel like it has been a marathon-heavy week:-)

Firstly, it was with the fabulous Rock Choir singing our hearts out to raise much needed funds for Comic Relief.

Secondly, it was again with Rock Choir cheering on runners as part of a local running festival (because let's face it, it's *much* easier to be belting out songs for 90 mins than running for 3 hours!)

Thirdly, it's me embarking on a walking/dancing/jogging-in short, moving! journey of 160 miles in the month leading to my 40th (so, 40 X 4 decades on this planet) in aid of another very important R in my life, i.e. the RSPCA.

Namely, our local branch that is totally independent from the national RSPCA and is 100% reliant on donations from the kind-hearted members of the public.

Words cannot fully describe the extent that this small group of infinitely passionate volunteers are doing to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome those animals who have no one else to turn to or have lost all hope in neglect.

I would therefore be eternally grateful for any donation towards our RSPCA Macclesfield, Buxton and SE Cheshire branch and to thus help make my 40th extra joyful and special!
